Silvertips Recall Scott MacDonald

Everett Silvertips Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Thursday that forward Scott MacDonald has been recalled by the Silvertips and will join the team in the midst of their Central Division roadtrip, which continues on Saturday, October 31st against the Red Deer Rebels.

MacDonald, 18, appeared in 63 games last season with the Chilliwack Bruins, recording 12 points on four goals and eight assists. A native of Surrey, British Columbia, MacDonald stands 6’1 and weighs 196 pounds. He began the 2009-10 season with the Westside Warriors of the BCHL, posting eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 15 games.

The Silvertips roster now includes 24 players, which includes 14 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goaltenders.

The Silvertips return home to Comcast Arena for a weekend against the defending champion Kelowna Rockets at 7:35 pm on Friday, November 13th and the rival Seattle Thunderbirds at 7:05 pm on Saturday, November 14th.
