Silvertips Make First Roster Decisions

The Everett Silvertips today announced that after three consecutive days of rigorous training camp scrimmages, 15 players from their initial training camp roster have been re-assigned to their respective Junior A and midget clubs.  That leaves the remaining 54 players competing for spots on the roster. 

The group of re-assigned players includes forwards Scott MacDonald, Nicholas Landry, Kyle Messervey, Dylan Hogue, Taylor Leger, Payton Ruter, Matthew Alfaro, Matteo Stepan, Rhett Lough, Matthew Longhurst, defensemen Rylan Parmenter, Paul Savage, Bejamin Blake, David Dziezawic and goaltender Derek Davies. 

All other players will now prepare for tomorrow’s Green vs. Grey intra-squad game, which is set for 1:00 pm at Comcast Arena.  Fans are invited to attend the free event but are asked to bring a food donation for the food bank , with the main arena entrance set to open at Noon.
