Silvertips and Assistance League of Everett Join Forces
The Everett Silvertips have joined forces with the Assistance League of Everett to hold a new clothing drive to help Operation School Bell during the entire Silvertips Pre-Season Tournament on Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3.
The Assistance League of Everett will be collecting NEW UNWORN CLOTHING for school age children and teenagers. Volunteers from Assistance League of Everett will be inside the main doors at the Everett Events Center collecting new clothes and cash donations during all preseason tournament games.
Operation School Bell is a program operated by the Assistance League of Everett that allows students in need to visit School Bell and select three new outfits, a winter jacket, hygiene kit and one week’s supply of underwear and socks. Qualified students are served through referrals from personnel in 14 Snohomish County school districts and Everett Community College’s Early Childhood Educational Alternative Program. Last school year, Operation School Bell clothed 2,447 children. Since opening in 1965, the organization has helped more than 44,322 students.
The Silvertips will host their 3rd Annual Everett Silvertips Pre-Season Tournament at the Everett Events Center on Labor Day Weekend from September 1 to September 3. On Friday, September 1, the Silvertips will battle the Vancouver Giants and face off against the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday, September 2 at 7:05 p.m. Everett will close out the pre-season tournament on Sunday, September 3 against the Seattle Thunderbirds at 7:05 p.m. Single game ticket prices for the tournament remain unchanged from last year. Single game tickets are $10 and fans can save money by purchasing a Tournament Ticket Package. Tournament Ticket Packages are just $50.00 per person (a $40.00 savings over walkup prices) for all nine-tournament games.
Ticket packages for the Pre-Season Tournament are currently on sale at the Silvertips Office, which is located inside the Everett Events Center (corner of Hewitt and Lombard). Fans may call the Silvertips office at 425-252-5100 and charge by phone (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover). Tickets packages will remain on sale through Thursday, August 31 at 5:00 p.m.
Single game tickets for the tournament are currently on sale at the Everett Events Center Box Office. Fans can also order tickets by calling 1-866-EEC-TIXX or online at www.everettsilvertips.com. Normal ticketing fees apply if ordering online or via phone.
