First Round Playoff Schedule Finalized
The Everett Silvertips announced the club’s playoff schedule and ticketing information for their first round series against the rival Portland Winterhawks, which begins on Saturday, March 26th at the Rose Garden in Portland. The series will shift back to Everett for Games 3 and 4, held at Comcast Arena on Wednesday, March 30th, and Thursday, March 31st. Both home games are scheduled to begin at 7:05 pm.
Everett has now qualified for the playoffs in each of the club’s eight seasons of existence, which began with a Cinderella run to the 2004 WHL Championship in the team’s inaugural season.
Tickets for individual playoff games will go on sale at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Silvertips offices, online at www.everettsilvertips.com, and via the Silvertips Ticketing Hotline at (866) 332-8499. The Comcast Arena Box Office will also open at 12:00 noon on Tuesday for ticket purchases.
Fans may also purchase a six-game playoff package, available by calling or visiting the front office. The six-game playoff packs allow fans to save up to $75 off normal ticketing prices while avoiding extra fees. A priority number for the 2011-12 season will be established by picking up one or more playoff packs, which range from $82.50 (orange-level upper bowl seats) to $135 (blue-level lower club seats). Playoff packages will be on sale through 5:00 pm on Friday, March 25th. Pre-ordered packages are currently available for pick-up at the Silvertips office.
The Silvertips have made it easier for groups to join the playoff atmosphere at Comcast Arena, as parties of ten or more now qualify for discounted group rates.
