Silvertips acquire Will Jamieson in trade with Spokane Chiefs
EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips have acquired forward Will Jamieson from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a 2027 7th-round pick in the WHL Draft.
Jamieson, an ’06-born Red Deer, AB native, has appeared in nine games this season with one assist. He skated in seven WHL games last year as well with one assist, spending most of the season with Red Deer Chiefs U18 AAA where he had eight goals, 19 assists and 103 PIM in 35 games.
“We’d like to welcome Will to our program,” commented Silvertips general manager/head coach Dennis Williams. “He brings good speed, skill and compete to our team. We look forward to working with him.”
Will Jamieson was originally drafted 111th-overall in the fifth round of the 2021 WHL Draft. He is expected to join the Silvertips ahead of Friday’s game against the Winterhawks.
