Game notes: Everett looks to close out their 2023 home schedule on a high against their U.S. Division rivals. The Seattle Thunderbirds (11-13-1, 23 pts) currently sit outside the playoff picture but hold several games in hand, as they have played the fewest games in the WHL with 25. Overage defenseman and Colorado Avalanche prospect Jeremy Hanzel leads the team in scoring with 25 points in 23 games. The Silvertips split their home-and-home with Seattle back on Nov. 17 and 18, with the home team winning both games by a 4-1 score.
