Game 5, first round of the WHL Playoffs between the Silvertips and Tri-City Americans … tonight is an elimination game and with a win, the Silvertips will advance onto the second round for the 5th consecutive season … it is the 5th time the two teams meet in the postseason … the Tips went 5-3-0-0 against Tri-City in the regular season … the Silvertips lead the series 3-1 … they are 10-8 lifetime in Game 5 situations (7-4 on home ice) and 13-7 when forcing elimination.

EVT 3 – TC 0 (3-28-19) // AOTW ARENA // EVERETT, WA: Dustin Wolf turned in his first career WHL Playoff shutout on 24 saves and Bryce Kindopp scored the game winner while adding an assist to lift the Everett Silvertips to a 3-0 victory over the Tri-City Americans and a 3-1 series lead before 2,258 fans at Toyota Center on Thursday in WHL Playoff action. The Silvertips pushed the Americans to the brink of elimination and can close out the series with a win on home ice on Saturday in Game 5. The Silvertips went 1-of-5 on the power play while Max Patterson and Zack Andrusiak each collected their second goals of the series.
