Auction for Michal Gut’s game-used World Juniors custom stick is now live
The auction for Everett Silvertips graduate Michal Gut’s custom designed game-used sticks from the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship is now live.
Michal Gut turns 20 today! As a birthday gift, you can support the auction of his game-used #WorldJuniors sticks or donate directly to the Ivan Hlinka Endowment Fund.
Incidentally, it is 18 years today since Hlinka’s passing. Let’s do some good!

Six sticks are available for bidding, each one featuring a special purple design as made by True Hockey in honor of Czech forward Pavel Novak’s ongoing cancer battle. The sticks are currently being used by Gut in Edmonton as Czechia prepares for the quarterfinal round of the World Juniors.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Ivan Hlinka Endowment Fund, an organization designed to help hockey players and personnel facing difficult life circumstances. Hlinka, regarded as a prolific and influential hockey player and coach in Czechia, died during a car accident on Aug. 16, 2004.
Fans who wish to support the Hlinka Fund without biding on the stick are encouraged to donate directly to the fund’s International Bank Account using the embedded information.
