Wenatchee, WA – The Victoria Royals and Wenatchee Wild faced off tonight for their fourth meeting of the season, this time at the Town Toyota Center. The Royals were led by two goals from Brandon Lisowsky and two goals from Markus Loponen, as well as two assists from Kenta Isogai.
Shaun Rios put the Wild on the board first with a power play marker at 9:09 of the first period. Wenatchee took the 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
Brandon Lisowsky’s power play marker, assisted by Keaton Verhoeff and Kenta Isogai at 4:49 of the second period evened the score at one apiece. Cole Reschny put the Royals up 2-1 at 14:32 of the frame, assisted by Cosmo Wilson and Kenta Isogai. The Royals held the lead after 40 minutes of play.
1:34 into the third period Dawson Seitz tied the game at two for the Wild. The Royals regained the lead with a power play marker from Markus Loponen at 13:10, assisted by Justin Kipkie and Nate Misskey. Markus Loponen and Brandon Lisowsky each scored on Wenatchee’s empty net to seal the Royals win 5-2.
