Rockets on the Road: Day 6

Rockets on the Road continues with day 6. Writing in today was Leif Mattson.

“Our Monday started with another great breakfast at the hotel. Following the meal, we made our way to the rink where we hopped on the ice for a one hour practice. The boys were flying out there as we are eager to bounce back from Saturday’s game tomorrow night in Moose Jaw. After having our post-practice Subway, we had a little down time before we made our way down to the Tartan Curling Club where we played in our 1st Annual Kelowna Rockets Christmas Bonspiel. We shared some laughs and enjoyed our afternoon. In the evening, we had our annual Christmas dinner at the hotel, which was followed by a guest appearance from Santa as he handed out the secret Santa gifts to the team. Now time for some rest as we prepare for our game tomorrow evening!” – Leif Mattson
