Sound System Upgrade
July 25, 2014 | Red Deer, AB – The Westerner Park Board of Directors approved a capital expense to upgrade the sound system in the ENMAX Centrium at the June board meeting.
After a request for proposal was issued, All Star Show Industries was chosen to install the new speaker system. Using JBL Vortex loudspeaker technology, a total of 58 speakers will be strung equally around the ENMAX Centrium, delivering clean and balanced sound throughout the arena bowl. Additionally, four subwoofers and 13 amplifiers will provide state-of-the-art sound, further enhancing the ENMAX Centrium as a premiere event and entertainment destination.
“What an exciting announcement for Red Deer Rebels fans.” Said Merrick Sutter, Senior Vice President, Red Deer Rebels. “This upgrade will further enhance our commitment to providing a professional hockey game experience for central Albertans. Combined with our video scoreboard and LED system, the audio/visual experience has never been greater.”
The new sound system will be unveiled at the beginning of the 2014/2015 Western Hockey League season.
