Rebels Send Strand To AAA Midget
RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today 16-year old defenceman Austin Strand has been reassigned to the Calgary Northstars of the Alberta (AAA) Midget Hockey League.
With this move, the Rebels have 31 players on their roster.
The Rebels will continue the pre-season Friday, September 13th in Lacombe as they host the Edmonton Oil Kings. Saturday, September 14th the Rebels are in Stettler to play the Medicine Hat Tigers. Both games are 7:00PM starts.
