Bleackley With 2 Goals: Rebels Win 2-1 Over Moose Jaw
After having their eight game home winning streak snapped on Tuesday, the Rebels looked to rebound in their third meeting of the season with the Moose Jaw Warriors.
FIRST PERIOD
Moose Jaw opened the scoring in this one when Jack Rodewald beat Rylan Toth for his 14th goal of the season at 12:32.
Just 36 seconds later, Conner Bleackley even things up with his 9th goal of the year. Riley Sheen and Grayson Pawlenchuk set up the 1-1 goal at 13:58.
SECOND PERIOD
Tyler Sandhu fed Bleackley for his second goal of the night 2:30 into the middle frame. The goal was the Rebels’ first powerplay tally versus Moose Jaw this season. It was also the 50th goal of Bleackley’s WHL career.
