Rebels prospects to compete at Circle K Classic
Several Rebels prospects are on teams competing at the 2025 Circle K Classic in Calgary.
The annual tournament features the top U18 teams from across Canada, United States, and the world.
Cash Arcand-Vandale – Warman Wildcats (SMAAAHL)
Selected by the Rebels in round two of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft, Arcand-Vandale made his WHL debut when he suited up against Edmonton on November 28. The Saskatoon, SK native has 20 points in 19 games this season with the Wildcats.
Owen Archer (injured) – St. Albert Raiders (AEHL)
Archer was selected by the Rebels in round two, 32nd overall at the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. He had four points in seven games with the Raiders this season and was part of Team Alberta at the WHL Cup, but will miss the tournament and the rest of the season due to injury.
Seth Gutenberg – Warman Wildcats (SMAAAHL)
Gutenberg was a ninth-round pick of the Rebels at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft. He’s having an outstanding season with the Wildcats with a 9-5-1 record, 2.60 GAA and .913 save percentage, along with one shutout.
Sawyer Holmes – Edmonton Oilers Blue (AEHL)
The Edmonton native has 11 points in 22 games this season with the Jr. Oilers after being selected by the Rebels in round five of the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Luke Jamieson – Edge School (CSSHL)
Jamieson, from Calgary, missed the start of the season due to injury and has since played nine games for Edge School, collecting four points. He is a signed Rebels prospect after being a sixth-round pick by the club in 2024.
Chace Turchak – Calgary Buffaloes (AEHL)
Turchak made his WHL debut with the Rebels on December 16 versus Brandon. Selected by the Rebels in round two, 30th overall at the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft, Turchak has 25 points in 21 games with the Buffaloes and had two points in five games for Alberta at the WHL Cup in Red Deer.
Nolan Wolitski – Northern Alberta Xtreme (CSSHL)
The St. Albert, AB resident who was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina was selected 7th overall by the Rebels in round one of the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. He’s posted 10 points and 32 penalty minutes in 15 games this season with NAX and played for Alberta at the WHL Cup.
