Rebels Acquire Hausinger From Blades
RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the acquisition of 17-year old forward Cameron Hausinger from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 7th round selection in the 2017 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and a 5th round pick in 2018.
Hausinger is in his second season in the WHL, he was a 7th round pick of the Blades in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. This season, Hausinger has 3 assists in 20 games. In 78 career games in the WHL, Hausinger has 6 goals and 8 assists for 14 points and 90 penalty minutes.
