Josephson selected to play in 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
Red Deer Rebels centre Ollie Josephson has been selected to play in the 2024 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
The game featuring 40 of the Canadian Hockey League’s top players eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Josephson, currently in his second year with the Rebels, is a B-rated prospect by NHL Central Scouting. He has 19 points in 34 games and is 12th in the WHL with 335 faceoff wins (54.6 faceoff percentage). He was the Pattison Media Rebels Rookie of the Year in 2022-23 and was the club’s fifth overall pick in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
The Victoria, BC native won gold this past summer with Team Canada at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Czechia and Slovakia.
Josephson is one of 18 WHL players selected for the 2024 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
