Steven Steranka signs with Rebels
The Red Deer Rebels are excited to announce that forward Steven Steranka has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the team.
Steranka was selected by the Rebels in round seven, 148th overall at the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
A native of Regina, SK, the 5’8, 160-pound forward collected 29 points (17 goals, 12 assists) in 43 games for his hometown Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA in 2022-23.

Steranka will suit up for pre-season action with the Rebels this weekend.
The Rebels visit the Calgary Hitmen to open their 2023-24 WHL Pre-Season this Friday (7 p.m. at Siksika First Nation) and host the Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday (Sept. 10) at 2 p.m. Tickets for this game will be available at the door at the Tickets Alberta Box Office at the Peavey Mart Centrium (Adults $10, Youth – $5).
