Andrej Kudrna scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Red Deer Rebels to a 7-1 win over the visiting Saskatoon Blades on Saturday.
Byron Froese – with a goal and two assists – John Persson, Brett Ferguson and Daulton Siwak also scored and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins picked up two assists for the Rebels (11-5-0-0), who stretch their winning streak to three games. Darcy Kuemper made 25 saves to claim his 60th career win.
Josh Nicholls scored the lone marker for the Blades (10-4-0-0), who suffer back-to-back losses for the first time this season. Adam Morrison and Adam Todd combined for 33 saves in the defeat.
The Rebels now head out to the West Coast for 6 games, starting Tuesday in Kent vs. Seattle.
