Raiders fall to Oil Kings

Prince Albert SK– The Raiders dropped their third straight game of the season with a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Edmonton Oil Kings. The ‘Kings came out hard in the first period and jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. The Raiders pressed in the second, but were unable to beat Edmonton goaltender Laurent Brossoit. In the final frame Justin Maylan finally was able to bury one past Brossoit in the third, but it was too little too late. Despite the loss, goaltender Cole Holowenko was named the games third star with 36 saves.
