Raiders Edge Broncos
Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders edged the Swift Current Broncos 6-5 in Prince Albert on Friday night.
Todd Fiddler scored just over a minute into the game to give the Raiders an early 1-0 lead. James Bettauer pinched in back door on a power play midway through the first to give the Raiders a 2-0 lead heading into the second.
The Broncos scored early in the second and added a power play tally of their own midway through the second to tie the game at two. The Raiders would score four more, including three on the power play, before the second was out and took a 6-4 lead into the third.
Swift Current would draw within one in the third but were unable to find the equalizer, handing the Raiders the second win of the pre-season.
