Raiders Earn Point With Big Third Period
Prince Albert, SK – Noah Gregor scored at 3:39 of overtime as the Moose Jaw Warriors edged the Prince Albert Raiders 4-3 on Friday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

Trailing by two heading into the third period, the Raiders tied the game with tallies from Simon Stransky and Parker Kelly. Prince Albert would hold off Moose Jaw through the opening minutes of overtime as they killed off a huge five-on-three advantage. Gregor would end the game just over a minute later though as his shot went off the post and in.
Tim Vanstone led the Raiders with a goal and one assist for two points. Stransky and Kelly registered the team’s other goals.
Gregor (1g-1a) and Brett Howden (2a) recorded two points to top the Warriors. Jesse Shynkaruk and Tanner Jeannot scored markers in the second period, eight seconds apart, to give Moose Jaw a two-goal lead.
Ian Scott got the call between the pipes for the Raiders and made 24 saves on 28 shots. Zach Sawchenko turned away 32 of 35 attempts.
The Raiders outshot the Warriors 35-28. Prince Albert went 0-for-4 on the power play, while Moose Jaw was 0-for-3.
The Raiders remain ahead of the Warriors with a one-point edge and one game in hand. Prince Albert’s record now sits at 31-20-6-1, while Moose Jaw improves to 30-21-7-1.
The Raiders are back in action on Saturday night when they travel to battle the Saskatoon Blades. The team is back at the Art Hauser Centre on Sunday night as they take on the Brandon Wheat Kings.
