Game Story
1st Period
Tyson Dallman on Team White opened the scoring at 2:02 into the first period after making no mistake on the pass from Mike Winther. Winther broke down the right side and made a nifty pass over the defender’s stick which Kennedy received and wristed top shelf over the sprawling Fiebelkorn
SOG: Black: 12- White: 10
2nd Period
White extended their lead to two at 4:31 of the 2nd period when Tyler Paslawski found a loose puck in front the black net and wristed a shot blocker side past Fiebelkorn.
Goalie Rotation:
Black: Brenden Fiebelkorn out, Jamie Tucker in.
White: Eric Williams out, Jacob Edwards in.
White got their 3rd tally at 13:05 of the 2nd period. Tyler Paslawski got his 2nd point of the game when he passed the puck out from behind the black net to a wide open Mark McNeill, who one timed the shot past the glove of fresh goalie, Jaime Tucker.
Newcomer Austin Bourhis squared up with Tyler Yaworski at centre ice to provide the first fight in the game.
SOG: Black: 10-White: 13 (22-24 Total)
3rd Period
White struck again at 4:31 of the 3rd period after an exceptional solo effort from Jonathan Parker. Parker demonstrated some fancy stick work and manoeuvred around 2 black defenders then released a shot from the slot that beat a screened Tucker.
Black was quick to respond with their first of the contest, when 27 seconds later, newcomer Sebastian Svendsen got Jacob Edwards moving from side to side and slid the puck in between his legs.
White wasted little time with a response of their own when at 10:00, Winther and Dallman connected again. Dallman was battling with a black defender just inside the offensive zone when Winther came bursting in the zone. Dallman made a quick behind the back pass which Winther slid five hole past Tucker.
After a broken 3 on 1, James Bettauer followed up on his own rebound and batted the puck past Tucker to get Whites 6th goal of the contest.
