SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (10-8-3-0) picked up a 6-5 win last night in Swift Current. The win extended their point streak to seven straight games. In their last ten games, the Raiders are 8-1-1-0, which is the best record in the league in that stretch. Tonight, the green and gold welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes to the Art Hauser Centre for their first meeting of the season. The Hurricanes (12-9-1-1) fell 4-1 in Saskatoon last night.
A HATTY IN GAME 150:
Tomas Mrsic scored his second hat trick in his last five games last night in Swift Current. His third goal of the game stood as the game winner with 2:52 left in regulation. He also recorded an assist for a four point night. He now has 16 goals and an even 30 points on the season.
ANOTHER MONSTER NIGHT FOR AO:
Along with Mrsic’s four point night, Aiden Oiring also had himself a four point outing in Swift Current, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists. Oiring leads all Raiders in scoring with 31 points (11G-20A), and snuck into the top 20 in league scoring.
