SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (8-8-3-0) had their four game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday night, as they fell 3-2 in overtime to the Medicine Hat Tigers, but extended their point streak to five straight games. Aiden Oiring and Krzysztof Macias scored for the Raiders, while Liam Ruck, Gavin McKenna, and Hunter St. Martin scored for the Tigers.
RETURN OF THE COBRA CHICKENS:
Tonight marks the second ever time that the Lake Country Cobra Chickens hit the ice. The debut was back on January 26, 2024, when they beat the Saskatoon Blades in a shootout. They will look to improve to 2-0 all-time.
BRICK WALL BETWEEN THE PIPES:
Max Hildebrand stopped a career high 52 shots in Wednesday’s loss to the Tigers. He was bombarded the most in the third period, where he stopped 23 of 24 shots. He now sits with an 8-6-3-0 record, a 3.52 GAA, and a .904 SV% this season.
THE POLISH PRINCE IS HEATING UP:
It appears Krzysztof Macias has found his step again this season. The 20-year-old has goals in his last three games, and is heading into tonight riding a four game point streak, with six points in those contests.
