Game Preview – Game 67 at Swift Current
RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (26-35-4-1) travel to Swift Current to take on the Broncos (26-34-5-2) tonight in a pivotal game in the push for the 2022 WHL Playoffs. In their last outing, the Raiders dropped a 5-3 game to the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre. Evan Herman had a pair of goals for the Raiders, while Reece Vitelli chipped in a pair of assists. Cale Sanders scored the other Raider goal.

YEAR-END AWARDS: The Raiders handed out their 2021-22 Year-End Awards at a banquet on Wednesday night. Alternate captain and Chicago Blackhawks prospect Nolan Allan was the recipient of the Orland Kurtenbach Award as Most Valuable Player. For all of the winners, click here.
SHORTHANDED STRIKE: Cale Sanders recorded his second shorthanded goal of the season on Saturday night in Regina, tying him for the team lead with Ozzy Wiesblatt. His last shorthanded goal came on February 8 at home against the Calgary Hitmen. The Claresholm, Alta. product has 13 goals and 28 points while playing in all 66 games so far this season.
HALF A CENTURY: With a pair of assists on Saturday night, captain Reece Vitelli reached 50 points in a season for the first time in his WHL career with an even 25 goals and 25 assists. The Winnipeg, Man. product has set career bests in all offensive categories this season.
TWICE IS NICE: Evan Herman recorded his sixth multi-goal game of the season on Saturday against the Pats. His two markers gave him a share of the team lead in goal scoring with 25, joining Reece Vitelli. Herman is one point away from doubling his previous career high in points, which was when he recorded 22 points in 59 games during the shortened 2019-20 season.
ONE AWAY: Nolan Allan’s next point will give the blueliner from Davidson his 50th point of his WHL career. Through is first 144 games, Allan has recorded 10 goals and 39 assists.
