RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (6-9-0-1) are in Edmonton tonight to face off against the Oil Kings (12-3-1-0) at Rogers Place. Last weekend, the Raiders took down the Broncos 4-1 in Swift Current. Dallyn Peekeekoot led the way for the Raiders with a pair of goals. Evan Herman and Tyson Laventure also found the back of the net in the win. Carter Serhyenko picked up his sixth win of the year with a 15-save effort.

TWO TIMES: Dallyn Peekeekoot struck twice on Saturday night against the Broncos in Swift Current. It was the first two-goal game of Peekeekoot’s WHL career. It was also his second multi-point game in the WHL, with his previous game being a three-point night on April 8, 2021 against the Saskatoon Blades in the Hub Centre. Peekeekoot has three goals in 15 games.
NEW CAREER BEST: Tyson Laventure set a new career high with his empty-net goal on Saturday against the Broncos. With that goal, the Lloydmisnter, Alta. product recorded his ninth point of the year in just his ninth game. His previous best was eight points, which was set in 23 games in the Hub Centre last season.
[related_links] NEARING A MILESTONE: With an assist on Saturday night against Swift Current, Ozzy Wiesblatt sits at 149 career points in the WHL. The San Jose Sharks prospect is second in team scoring with five goals and six assists in 14 games. For his career, Wiesblatt has 53 goals and 96 assists in 166 contests.
HEATING UP: Overage defenceman Remy Aquilon has points in five of his past seven games after picking up an assist on Saturday against the Broncos. In that span, the Kelowna, B.C. product has two goals and four assists. The helper on Saturday also gave Aquilon 30 assists for his WHL career.
