RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (29-16-5-4) host the Brandon Wheat Kings (29-19-3-2) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre in an important East Division matchup. Last night against Swift Current, the Raiders closed out the season series with a 5-0 win over the Broncos. Aliaksei Protas led the way with a goal and two assists. Ilya Usau and Ozzy Wiesblatt each had two points in the win.

COMING UP CLUTCH: Michael Horon scored his third goal as a Raider on Friday night, which was also the game winner. Two of Horon’s three goals in the Green and Gold have been the game-winning marker. Also, two of his three goals were the opening goal of the contest.
WATTS AT 150: With his goal on Friday night, Brayden Watts reached the 150-point plateau in his WHL career. The Bakersfield, CA product has 62 goals and 88 assists in his 305-game career. The goal also gave the overager his first 50-point season.
LEADING HIS COUNTRY: Aliaksei Protas continues to put up points for the Raiders following a three-point performance. His 64 points in a season is the most by a Belarusian in the WHL, according to Hockey Belarus’ website. The previous record was held by former Raider Igor Revenko with 55 points during the 2009-10 campaign.
FIRST: Tyson Laventure picked up the first assist of his WHL career on Michael Horon’s goal in the opening period of Friday’s game. Laventure has four goals to go along with his first assist, giving him five points in 33 games during his rookie tour in the WHL. The Lloydminster, AB product was drafted in the second round of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
BACK ON THE BOARD: Nolan Allan registered his first point in 22 games with an assist on Friday night against Swift Current. The rookie from Davidson has a goal and six assists in 48 games this season.
