Leavitt Machinery Preview – Game 19 vs. Medicine Hat
RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (17-1-0-0) tangle with the Medicine Hat Tigers (9-9-1-2) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre. Last week, the Raiders won their lone game, downing the Swift Current Broncos 6-2 on Friday. Noah Gregor led the way for the Raiders in that game, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists. Sean Montgomery also had a pair of goals in the contest. Kody McDonald had a multi-point night in his return to the lineup with a goal and an assist. Justin Nachbaur was the other Raider goal scorer. Donovan Buskey picked up his third win in as many starts this season, stopping 17 Bronco shots.
VS. MEDICINE HAT: This is the third of four meetings between the Raiders and the Tigers this season. The Raiders have won both games so far this year by a combined 10-4 margin.

MAKING HIS RETURN: Raiders overager Kody McDonald made his return to the lineup following an injury that cost him eight games. The Lethbridge, AB product had a goal and an assist in his return, joining a line with Noah Gregor and Justin Nachbaur. This season, McDonald has two goals and five assists in 10 games.
REPRESENTING CANADA: Kaiden Guhle and Ozzy Wiesblatt are back from the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in New Brunswick. Guhle captained Canada Red to a fourth-place finish at the event, registering three assists and 12 penalty minutes in six games. Wiesblatt, who was an alternate captain for Canada Black, finished in fifth with a goal and two assists in five games.
SNIPING SEAN MONTGOMERY: Sean Montgomery’s hot start to the season continued on Friday night as the Calgary product had a pair of goals. Montgomery now has points in eight of his last nine games for eight goals and six assists over that span. It was also his eighth multi-point outing of the season, which is a career high for the fifth-year Raider.
QUICK STARTS: The Raiders have been able to get the jump on their opponents in the majority of their games this season, striking first in 15 of 18 games played. Also, the Raiders have outscored opponents 27-4 in the opening period.
