LEADING THE CHARGE: Sloan Stanick and Reece Vitelli are tied for the team lead in scoring in the season series against the Blades with both forwards putting up seven points. Stanick has four goals and three assists, while Vitelli has scored twice to go along with five assists.
SCORING TOUCH: Evan Herman took over the team lead in goals with his fifth multi-goal game of the season on Tuesday night against the Hurricanes. One of the goals was a power-play marker, giving the The Pas, Man. product the team lead in power-play markers with eight. He was the second Raider to reach the 20-goal plateau, following Reece Vitelli who reached that mark last week. Herman is sixth on the team in scoring with 30 points in 53 games this season.
CLIMBING THE TABLE: Landon Kosior tallied his 15th goal of the season on Tuesday against Lethbridge when he scored on a second-period power play. The Regina-born blueliner is third among defencemen in the WHL in goals scored. Kosior is the leading scorer among Raider defencemen, totalling 36 points in 53 contests.
HALF A CENTURY: Carson Latimer recorded his 50th career point with an assist in Tuesday’s game against the Hurricanes. Half of those points have come with the Raiders after being acquired from the Oil Kings in December. The Ottawa Senators prospect has 19 goals and 31 assists in 75 career WHL games split between the Raiders and the Oil Kings.
UP NEXT: The Raiders finish off the home-and-home series with the Blades tomorrow night in Saskatoon. Game time is 7 p.m. The next Raiders’ home game is Wednesday night against the Swift Current Broncos. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at SaskTix.ca.
