Hitmen Announce Radio Broadcast Schedule
The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced their radio broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 Western Hockey League season.
Live play-by-play of all 68 regular season games, along with every playoff contest, will be carried on Sportsnet 960-The Fan or online on the Alternate Stream at Sportsnet.ca/960.
Of the regular season schedule, 50 games will be broadcast on the radio with the remaining 18 available online during nights when the Calgary Flames are also in action.
“Sportsnet 960-The Fan is Calgary’s only 24/7 all sports radio and we are so proud to continue our partnership with one the best run Major Junior Hockey teams in North America,” said Sportsnet 960-The Fan Program Director Kelly Kirch. “On the air and online we are with the Calgary Hitmen all the way this season.”
In addition to games, fans will once again be able to listen to the Hitmen Hockey Hour on Saturdays starting in September.
Sportsnet 960-The Fan will also air the lone Hitmen pre-season game at the Scotiabank Saddledome when Calgary hosts Kootenay in a 7:00 p.m. start on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The 2018-19 Hitmen Hockey Pass is on sale now and includes 34 game tickets to be used anytime, in any combination. Pass holders also receive a $50 Scotiabank Saddledome gift card and a complimentary ticket to a select Flames, Roughnecks or Stampeders game. Passes start at less than $7 per ticket for kids and under $15 for adults.
