Beaupit added to Canada’s National Junior Team summer camp
Calgary, Alta. — Spokane Chiefs goaltender Mason Beaupit has been added to Canada’s National Junior Team summer development camp, which is set to take place Saturday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 27 in Calgary.
Beaupit, who was recently selected by the San Jose Sharks in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft, will join fellow WHL goaltenders Tyler Brennan (Prince George) and Thomas Milic (Seattle), as well as OHL goaltender Benjamin Gaudreau (Sarnia). Gaudreau was also drafted by the Sharks in the third round (81st overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
Beaupit posted a 20-22-1-3 record in 49 appearances with Spokane during the 2021-22 WHL season, to go along with a 3.63 goals-against average, .893 save percentage and one shutout.
The summer development camp kicks off Saturday evening, with games starting Monday evening.
