TEDDY BEAR NIGHT! BLAZERS HOST COUGARS
Tonight, the Kamloops Blazers will be holding their annual Teddy Bear / Toque Toss night. The Blazers were the first team to start the tradition in the 1993-94 season. During that time, it is estimated that over 32,000 bears have been collected and distributed. Over the years, the Teddy Bear toss has become a regular for almost every WHL and CHL building.
Collections from the evening will be distributed to different local organizations including the Royal Inland Hospital. On Monday, December 5th, Kamloops Blazers players will be at Royal Inland Hospital in the morning at 10:00am and in the evening at 6:00pm to help distribute teddy bears.
