RIBFEST AND MORE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
What: RibFest 2013 @ Riverside Park, Kamloops
When: Friday, August 9, 2013 through Sunday, August 11, 2013
RibFest Hours: 11am-9pm
The Kamloops Blazers will once again be involved in this great event put on by Kamloops Daybreak Rotary and title sponsor Interior Savings Credit Union. Look for our tent as well as some of our players and Digger in the Fun Zone and stop by to win some prizes! Chase Souto, Mitch Friesen and Nick Chyzowski as well as mascot Digger will all be stopping by over the weekend! Bring the whole family down, enjoy some great food and FREE family entertainment!
Blazers Head Coach Dave Hunchak will also be part of the RibFest judging panel – judging takes place Saturday, August 10th from approximately 3:00pm-4:30pm. The Blazers are also sponsoring the Corn Chucking contest being held twice daily in the Fun Zone – winners will receive a great Blazers prize pack!

What: Interior Savings Moonlight Movie Tour @ Riverside Park, Kamloops
When: Monday, August 12th 7:00pm
This year’s movie is “Rise of the Guardians” (family friendly!). For anyone who has never been, this is an awesome family event and a wonderful way to spend a summer evening in Kamloops! A few of our players will be on hand to hang out with the kids, sign autographs, play games, and more! Bring a blanket down and settle in on the grass for a nice evening in Riverside Park.

What: Country 103 Summer Thunder @ Riverside Park, Kamloops
When: Thursday, August 15th 7:00pm
Country 103 presents Bobby Wills and Dallas Smith – free concert @ Riverside Park in Kamloops
Come down and check out this great event hosted by Country 103! Rising Canadian Country Star Dallas Smith will be performing a FREE concert at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside Park and we will be there to help make it a great night! Stop by our tent to enter to win some great prizes and say hello to a couple of our players who will be on site to chat with fans, sign some autographs, and give out some great prizes!
