KRYSKI, DAVIDSON INVITED TO U-17 CAMP
Kamloops, BC – Two Kamloops Blazers prospects have been invited to Hockey Canada’s Under-17 development camp. Jake Kryski and Dawson Davidson will attend the camp which will be held from July 29th until August 4th at the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary.
Kryski was acquired by the Blazers in July 2013 from the Prince Albert Raiders. The 16-year-old forward had a great season with the Okanagan Rockets of the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League pick up 47 points in 37 regular season games. He added 11 more points in seven playoff games.
The 5’11” and 170lb native of Vancouver helped the Rockets win the BCMMHL championship and the Pacific regional championship. At the national Telus Cup championship, the Rockets fell short of the ultimate prize.
Davidson was selected by the Blazers in the third round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. The defenseman had a great season for the Moose Jaw Generals of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League with 39 points in 42 games. The 16-year-old Moosomin, SK native also played in the Telus Cup and had three goals in five games at the event.
