Friday, September 19, 2014 vs. Victoria Royals – 6-3 Win
The Blazers opened the 2014-15 WHL season scoring a goal in the first minute on home ice to win 6-3 over the Victoria Royals. Matt Revel had two goals and an assist, while Cole Ully and Josh Connolly each picked up a goal and an assist. Bolton Pouliot was outstanding in goal for the Blazers with 30 saves on the 33 shots he faced. Jake Kryski picked up his first career WHL goal and an assist in the game. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Kelowna Rockets – 6-1 Loss
The Blazers gave up three goals in the first 11 minutes of the game as they fell 6-1 in Kelowna Saturday night. Bolton Pouliot stopped 6 of 9 shots before being pulled in favour of 17-year-old Connor Ingram. Ingram was solid in stopping 27 of 30 shots he faced. Deven Sideroff scored the lone goal for the Blazers nine seconds into the second period. Goaltender Jackson Whistle was the game’s first star making 32 saves for the Rockets. Ferner Steps Down to Join Vernon Vipers
The Kamloops Blazers are in search of an Assistant Coach as Mark Ferner has stepped down to take on the role as General Manager and Head Coach of the Vernon Vipers on the BCHL.

Rehill Still at Devils Training Camp
Ryan Rehill is the lone Kamloops Blazers player remaining at an NHL training camp. Rehill was selected in the fifth round, 131st overall by the New Jersey Devils.
The 6’3” and 225lb defenseman is expected to be back in time for the two weekend games in Victoria.

Blazers Travel to Victoria for Two Games
The Kamloops Blazers hit the road on Thursday as they play two games in Victoria on Friday and Saturday nights this weekend.
