BLAZERS FALL 4-3 IN 13-ROUND SHOOTOUT

The Kamloops Blazers fell 4-3 in shootout on Friday night in Vancouver against the Giants.

The Giants tied the game at 3-3 late in the third period and 13 rounds of the shootout were needed to end the game.

Luc Smith had two goals on the night and Zane Franklin had a goal and an assist. Connor Zary scored the lone goal in the shootout.

Dylan Garand was in goal and stopped 29 shots and 11 of 13 shooters he faced in the shootout.

The Blazers are in Everett on Saturday night to conclude their two-game road trip this weekend.
