BLAZERS AND BCLC SUPPORT PARKCREST ELEMENTARY THIS FRIDAY
Kamloops, B.C.: September 23, 2019 – The Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club in partnership with BCLC will host a special game night this Friday, September 27, 2019 in support of all those affected by the devastating fire at Parkcrest Elementary School.
Together, the Blazers and BCLC will provide 1,000 tickets to the home game, versus the Kelowna Rockets, to the Parkcrest Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), which will distribute them to students, staff and families of those affected by the devastating fire that occurred on September 5, 2019.
The Kamloops Blazers 50/50 Society is also donating 50/50 proceeds from the September 27, 2019 game to the Parkcrest PAC to help fund new sports equipment.
“We are extremely proud to be able to partner with BCLC to help Parkcrest Elementary in their time of need,” said President & COO, Don Moores. “We know our Blazer fans will be out in full force Friday, September 27th to support them as well”.
“Schools are such an important cornerstone of every community – and supporting B.C. communities is at the heart of everything we do at BCLC,” said Greg Moore, BCLC’s Interim President & CEO. “We are proud to partner with the Blazers to offer the countless teachers, students and families affected by the tragic fire at Parkcrest Elementary School with a fun night out of hockey – while also raising funds to help replace much-needed sports equipment.”
