BLAZERS ACQUIRE CHASETAN BRAID FROM BLADES
Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 18-year-old forward Chasetan Braid from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 5th round WHL Bantam pick in 2017.
Braid played last season with the Saskatoon Blades, picking up four points.
This season, the Chauvin, Alberta native had four points in three WHL preseason games and has a goal and an assist in three WHL regular season games.
“Chasetan is a competitive player,” commented General Manager, Craig Bonner. “We believe he can contribute to our line-up. We wanted to add a player who competes hard, and will create some internal competition.”
The 6’0” and 168lb forward will join the Blazers for practice on Friday afternoon and is expected to be in the line-up on Saturday, October 10th when the Blazers host the Victoria Royals.
