Matthew Seminoff
A sixth-round pick by the Dallas Stars in the 2022 NHL Draft, forward Matthew Seminoff enjoyed a career year with the Kamloops Blazers in 2022-23. The product of Coquitlam, B.C. finished third in team scoring with 31 goals and 82 points while serving as part of the Blazers’ leadership team, all while being named to the B.C. Division Second All-Star Team. Seminoff turned his game up to another level in the playoffs, scoring 10 goals in 14 games as Kamloops reached the Western Conference Championship. He followed his post-season performance by scoring three goals in four appearances for the Blazers at the Memorial Cup. Seminoff signed an entry-level contract with the Stars in March. Over 196 career WHL regular season games, the 91-year-old has career totals of 73 goals and 170 points.

Logan Stankoven
Logan Stankoven produced points on every stage on which he played in 2022-23, captaining his hometown Kamloops Blazers as Memorial Cup hosts and winning a World Junior Championship as part of a busy season. Stankoven, a second-round pick of the Dallas Stars in the 2021 NHL Draft, led Kamloops in scoring for the second straight season, totalling 97 points (34G-63A) from his 48 regular season appearances. The 20-year-old then led all WHL scorers in playoff points for the second straight spring, putting up 30 during the Blazers’ run to the Western Conference Championship. At the Memorial Cup, Stankoven led all scorers with nine points and was named to the CHL First All-Star Team. Stankoven was just as busy off the ice as he was on it; his work in the community helped him earn the Doug Wickenheiser Memorial Trophy as WHL Humanitarian of the Year.

Chase Wheatcroft
Forward Chase Wheatcroft parlayed a sensational 2022-23 season into an entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars; the 20-year-old is set to embark on his pro career this fall after a 47-goal, 107-point campaign with the Prince George Cougars last winter. Wheatcroft signed with Dallas in March after finishing second among WHL scoring leaders; he also became only the second Prince George skater ever to crack the 100-point mark during a WHL regular season. Wheatcroft, who calls Calgary, Alta. home, added five goals during the playoffs including a series-deciding, Game 6 overtime winner versus Tri-City that sent the Cougars to the Second Round of the WHL Playoffs for the first time since 2007. In four WHL seasons with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Winnipeg ICE and Prince George Cougars, Wheatcroft earned career totals of 78 goals and 189 points.
