HARRISON BRUNICKE SELECTED BY PITTSBURGH PENGUINS IN NHL DRAFT
Kamloops Blazers defenseman Harrison Brunicke was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round, 44th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft in Las Vegas.
The 6’3″ defenseman from Calgary, AB had 10 goals, 11 assists for 21 points in 49 games. He also had a goal and three assists in seven games as he helped Canada win a Gold Medal at the Under-18 World Championships in Finland this past April.
This is the 13th straight year where the Blazers have had a player selected in the NHL Draft. Since 1985, the Blazers have had a 107 players drafted to the NHL.
