Americans recover from early two goal deficit, defeat T-Birds 4-2
The Ams take a win in their rematch against the Seattle Thunderbirds after Tuesday’s 5-4 loss in Kent.
Both of the Thunderbirds’ goals came early in the first period. Jake Lee scored the first at 3:12. Followed by Noah Philp’s goal with the assist of Payton Mount at 4:28.
The Ams didn’t stay off the board for too long, scoring two goals in the first period as well. Connor Bouchard was the first to score for Tri-City tonight at 9:29 with the help of Riley Sawchuck and Sasha Mutala.
Anaheim Ducks prospect Kyle Olson scored the second goal to tie things up assisted by Isaac Johnson and Nolan Yaremko at 14:00.
The second period was scoreless from both ends.
The Ams sneak past the Thunderbirds to secure the win in the third at 14:51. Parker AuCoin scores his first goal of the night and the game-winning goal assisted by Kyle Olson and Nolan Yaremko.

AuCoin secures the insurance goal with an empty netter at 19:00.
The Americans and the Thunderbirds both finished with 26 shots.
Final score: TC 4 – SEA 2.

The Americans will be on the road until Friday, Nov. 23. They will play the Thunderbird tomorrow once again in Kent.
