Robinson predicts 40-plus goals for Massé in 2024-25
What’s next for Maxim Massé, the QMJHL’s Mike Bossy Trophy winner as the Best Professional Prospect?
In the eyes of Elite Prospects Content Director Cam Robinson, a 40-plus goal season.
“He’s got a little Brandon Saad in him,” Robinson said. “I think he’ll become more of a power forward, elevate his game and maybe score 40-plus goals this year. If he can get hot early, perhaps he can put himself on the map for the Canadian World Juniors selection camp.”
The third overall pick in the 2022 QMJHL Draft, Massé has 137 points (62 goals) in 132 games with the Sags and was the QMJHL Rookie of the Year in 2022-23. Anaheim selected him 66th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
