2025-26 CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Week 6
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 6 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.
The Brantford Bulldogs continue to set the pace across the CHL, holding firm at No. 1 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a third straight week. The Bulldogs (11-0-1-1) remain the only OHL team without a regulation loss – and one of just two across the CHL – after extending their dominance with three more wins by a combined 10-3 margin. Led by Buffalo Sabres prospect Ryerson Leenders, the OHL Goaltender of the Week, and Seattle Kraken prospect Jake O’Brien, who leads the league with 23 points, Brantford has established itself as one of the teams to beat early in the 2025-26 season. The Windsor Spitfires (12-2-1-1) have climbed back to No. 2 – matching their season-best ranking – after earning five of six points last week and becoming the first team in both the OHL and CHL to hit 12 wins. Windsor’s success has been driven by 2026 NHL Draft prospect Ethan Belchetz, CHL defensive scoring co-leader Carson Woodall, and Los Angeles Kings prospect Liam Greentree. Rounding out the top three, the Everett Silvertips (11-1-1-0) slipped one position but remain the WHL’s top club after rebounding from their first regulation loss with a 5-2 road win in Spokane.
Further down the list, the Prince Albert Raiders (9-0-2-0) climbed to No. 8 after extending their unbeaten-in-regulation streak to 11 games with back-to-back shutouts of Swift Current. The Raiders remain the WHL’s lone team without a regulation loss, backstopped by strong goaltending from Michal Orsulak and Dimitri Fortin, and steady play from veteran Brayden Dube. Entering the Top 10 for the first time this season, the London Knights (7-2-3-0) have caught fire with a nine-game point streak (7-0-2-0). The defending Memorial Cup champions were powered over the last week by new captain and Lightning prospect Sam O’Reilly, dynamic defenceman Jared Woolley, and rookie netminder Sebastian Gatto, who earned his first OHL shutout in a 3-0 win at Sarnia.

CHL Top-10 Rankings – Week 6
1. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): The Brantford Bulldogs (11-0-1-1) continue to reign atop the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a third consecutive week after another dominant stretch that saw them win all three of their games by a combined 10-3 margin. Brantford opened the week with a 3-1 road victory in Sarnia before defeating the Oshawa Generals 3-1 at home and 4-1 on the road to close out the weekend. Remaining the lone OHL club without a regulation loss this season—and one of just two teams across the CHL to hold that distinction—the Bulldogs have firmly established themselves among the league’s elite. Buffalo Sabres prospect Ryerson Leenders was named the Mary Brown’s Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week after going 2-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .966 save percentage, highlighted by a 38-save performance in Sarnia. Up front, Seattle Kraken prospect Jake O’Brien (7G-16A in 11 GP) extended his point streak to seven games, capped by a four-point outing in Oshawa that helped him seize the OHL scoring lead with 23 points. The Bulldogs will look to extend their unbeaten run this week as they host Barrie before heading south for weekend matchups in Flint and Saginaw.
Games this week: vs. Barrie (Oct. 29), @ Flint (Nov.1 ), @ Saginaw (Nov. 2)
2. Windsor Spitfires (OHL): Having earned five of a possible six points last week, the Windsor Spitfires (12-2-1-1) have climbed two spots to sit second in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings – matching their highest position of the season and returning to the No. 2 slot for the first time in three weeks. Windsor blanked the Ottawa 67’s 2-0 on Thursday and edged Owen Sound 4-3 in a shootout Friday before falling 6-5 in another shootout to Saginaw on Sunday. With Friday’s win, the Spitfires became the first team in both the OHL and CHL to record 12 victories this season. Leading the charge offensively, 2026 NHL Draft prospect Ethan Belchetz (12G-7A in 15 GP) tallied three goals and an assist over the week and continues to pace the OHL with 12 goals, having scored in nine of his last 11 games. Los Angeles Kings prospect Liam Greentree (6G-6A in 8 GP) added his fourth and fifth multi-point performances of the campaign, bringing his total to 12 points in eight outings. Meanwhile, 19-year-old blueliner Carson Woodall (2G-20A in 16 GP) extended his point streak to nine games and remains tied for the league lead among CHL defencemen with 22 points. The Spitfires will look to stay hot this weekend when they visit Saginaw on Saturday before hosting Flint on Sunday.
Games this week: @ Saginaw (Nov. 1), vs. Flint (Nov. 2)
3. Everett Silvertips (WHL): The Everett Silvertips (11-1-1-0) slipped one spot in the rankings for the first time this season following a 2-1-0-0 week that included their first regulation loss of 2025-26. Everett opened the weekend with a 3-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades before dropping a 7-0 decision to the Vees on home ice Saturday. The ‘Tips quickly rebounded Sunday in Spokane, defeating the Chiefs 5-2 to remain the lone 11-win club in the WHL and one of just three CHL teams to reach that mark. Florida Panthers prospect Shea Busch (11G-4A in 11 GP) continued his torrid start, scoring in both Everett victories and now finding the net in three of his last four games, having failed to score in just three outings all season. Seattle Kraken prospect Julius Miettinen (8G-12A in 12 GP) has also been a model of consistency, registering points in six of his last seven games and being held off the scoresheet only twice this year. The Silvertips will look to keep rolling as they visit Kamloops on Wednesday before another matchup with Spokane this weekend.
Games this week: @ Kamloops (Oct. 29), @ Spokane (Nov. 1)
4. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL): The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (9-3-2-0) slipped one spot to fourth in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after dropping a pair of games in regulation, marking their third straight week of movement down the rankings since opening the season at No. 1. The Armada fell 3-2 to the Québec Remparts on Friday before suffering a 6-1 setback against the No. 5-ranked Chicoutimi Saguenéens on Saturday. Discipline proved costly, as Blainville-Boisbriand took nine penalties across the two contests and surrendered three power-play goals to Chicoutimi. 2026 NHL Draft prospect Xavier Villeneuve (4G-18A in 14 GP) remained a consistent force, collecting points in both games—an assist versus Québec and the team’s lone goal against Chicoutimi. Villeneuve continues to lead all QMJHL defencemen and shares the overall CHL lead among blueliners with 22 points, having been held off the scoresheet in only four games this season. Vegas Golden Knights prospect Mateo Nobert (7G-10A in 12 GP) also found the net against Québec and has scored in five of his last seven outings. The Armada will aim to get back on track this week as they host Halifax on Wednesday, visit Victoriaville on Friday, and return home Saturday to face Gatineau.

5. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): The Chicoutimi Saguenéens (8-2-0-2) climbed two spots to fifth in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after earning three of a possible four points, marking their first appearance among the CHL’s top five since debuting at No. 4 in the preseason. Chicoutimi extended its point streak to five games with an emphatic 6-1 win over the No. 4-ranked Blainville-Boisbriand Armada before falling 4-3 in a shootout to Victoriaville. The Saguenéens have now earned points in nine of their last ten outings and are one of only two QMJHL clubs to have won seven of their past ten games. Anaheim Ducks prospect Émile Guité (10G-4A in 10 GP) continued his red-hot start, scoring in four straight games and maintaining a 10-game point streak, having failed to record a goal in only one contest this season. Fellow Ducks prospect Maxim Massé (8G-5A in 11 GP) also impressed, notching points in both games, including a three-point effort (1G-2A) in the win over Blainville-Boisbriand. The Saguenéens will look to keep their momentum rolling this week as they host Drummondville and Sherbrooke at the Georges-Vézina Centre.
Games this week: vs. Drummondville (Oct. 31), vs. Sherbrooke (Nov. 1)
6. Charlottetown Islanders (QMJHL): The Charlottetown Islanders (10-2-1-2) hold steady at No. 6 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after splitting their two games last week. The Islanders fell 4-2 to the visiting Moncton Wildcats before rebounding with a 3-2 shootout win over Cape Breton on home ice. Charlottetown has now earned points in eight of its last 10 games (6-2-1-1) and continues to lead the QMJHL standings with 23 points. Between the pipes, 18-year-old goaltender Donald Hickey bounced back from consecutive losses with a 31-save performance against the Eagles, stopping all three shooters in the shootout to earn his QMJHL-leading ninth win of the season. Veteran forward Nathan Leek (10G-6A in 15 GP) snapped a five-game goal drought by scoring his 10th of the year in that victory, moving into the QMJHL’s top five in goals. On the blue line, Marcus Kearsey (5G-10A in 13 GP) continued his impressive form, tallying a goal and an assist versus Moncton. Over the month of October, Kearsey has been held off the scoresheet just three times in 11 outings while recording five goals and nine points. The Islanders now embark on a busy four-game road trip through Victoriaville, Sherbrooke, Rouyn-Noranda, and Val-d’Or.

The Rangers opened the weekend with a 4-1 win over Flint at the Aud, dropped a narrow 4-3 overtime decision in Barrie, and closed out with a 3-1 home victory against North Bay to extend their point streak to four games. Nashville Predators 2025 first-round pick Cameron Reid (1G-10A in 12 GP) continued to heat up, recording points in all three games to stretch his streak to six, including three straight multi-point efforts. Colorado Avalanche prospect Christian Humphreys (5G-13A in 12 GP) paced the Rangers with seven points (2G-5A) in three outings, registering at least two points in each contest. Between the pipes, San Jose Sharks prospect Christian Kirsch remains rock solid in his rookie OHL campaign, winning five of his last six starts while allowing just one goal in four of those appearances. The Rangers will look to stay hot this week as they host Sudbury before visiting Brampton for a clash with the Steelheads.

8. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): The Prince Albert Raiders (9-0-2-0) continued their climb up the CHL Top-10 Rankings, moving up to eighth after extending their point streak to 11 games with a pair of dominant shutout wins over the Swift Current Broncos. The Raiders blanked the Broncos 4-0 at home on Friday before completing the sweep with a 5-0 road victory on Saturday, dominating the shot clock by a combined 77-36 margin across the two games. Prince Albert now stands as the lone WHL team without a regulation loss this season and one of just two clubs across the CHL to remain undefeated through 60 minutes. The Raiders have also allowed the fewest goals in the WHL, surrendering just 30 through 11 games (2.18 per game). Czech netminder Michal Orsulak made 18 saves Friday to improve to 4-0-1, and 19-year-old Dimitri Fortin matched the feat Saturday with an 18-save shutout of his own. Over the two-game set, 20-year-old forward Brayden Dube (5G-10A in 11 GP) tallied a goal and three assists, and now has points in all but three games this season. The Raiders will look to stay unbeaten in regulation when they host Calgary and Moose Jaw at the Art Hauser Centre this weekend.

9. Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL): The Edmonton Oil Kings (9-4-1-1) slipped four spots in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after going winless over their three outings last week (0-1-1-1), though they managed to collect a pair of points along the way. Edmonton’s recent slide has now reached four games, each decided by just a single goal. The Oil Kings opened the week with a 3-2 shootout loss to Spokane before dropping a 5-4 overtime decision to Regina and a 3-2 contest to Calgary to close out their homestand. Despite the setbacks, 18-year-old American forward Andrew O’Neill (7G-3A in 15 GP) remained a bright spot, scoring in all three games and recording four points on the week. On the blue line, 19-year-old Ethan MacKenzie (4G-7A in 15 GP) extended his strong stretch with points in five of his last six outings, while 18-year-old Lukas Sawchyn (6G-8A in 15 GP) continues to produce with points in six of his last eight games. 10. London Knights (OHL): After opening the season winless through three games (0-2-1-0), the London Knights (7-2-3-0) have surged into the CHL Top-10 Rankings for the first time in 2025-26 on the strength of a nine-game point streak (7-0-2-0) dating back to September 27. The reigning Memorial Cup champions continued their impressive run over the weekend with a 3-2 overtime victory against the Ottawa 67’s, followed by a 3-0 shutout win in Sarnia. Now one of just four OHL teams with a points percentage above .700, the Knights have been led by newly named captain and Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Sam O’Reilly (6G-6A in 10 GP), who scored in both wins, including a three-point effort versus Ottawa, and has points in six of his last eight games with four multi-point outings. On the back end, Los Angeles Kings prospect Jared Woolley (5G-6A in 10 GP) extended his point streak to five games and has been held off the scoresheet just once this season. Between the pipes, rookie netminder Sebastian Gatto stopped all 21 shots he faced in Sarnia to earn his first career OHL shutout. The Knights will look to keep their streak alive this week with a three-game eastern road trip through Peterborough, Ottawa, and Kingston.
