Titans remain undefeated with comeback win over Marlboros
The Toronto Titans remain undefeated as they picked up their second win of the 2025 OHL Cup with 4-3 victory over the Toronto Marlboros.
Ty Robar (1) got the scoring started in the game with a goal late in the opening period. The Marlboros answered back with three straight goals in the second from Kingston Harris (1), Max Branton (1), and Cannon Thibodeau (1).
The Titans high-powered offence would come alive in the third with two goals from Jeremy Freeman (2) and the game winner from Max Delisle (1).
Despite being down at the flood the Titans did not panic as Freeman described his team’s comeback saying, “We regrouped at the intermission. We stuck to our plan, tried not to make too many mistakes and capitalize on our chances, we played hard and were resilient.”
We got some amazing players here that can put the puck in the net. I think we can score at any time, which makes us a dangerous team in that regard,” said Freeman highlighting his teams offensive capabilities.
The Toronto Titans will look to stay undefeated tomorrow evening at 5:30pm as they face the Elgin Middlesex Canucks. The Marlboros will be eyeing their first win of the event when they face the Ottawa Valley Titans at 1:30pm.
