Final: 3 (JRC) – 2 (UCC)
The Toronto Jr. Canadiens are headed to the OHL Cup Final after a hard-fought 3-2 win over Upper Canada College Blues in semifinal action.
JRC struck early in the opening period, as Khov Long (2) gave the Jr. Canadiens the lead. Upper Canada responded shortly after, with Carmine Liss (3) finding the back of the net to even things up at one.
Brayden Grima (5) would regain the lead for Toronto less than a minute later with his fifth of the tournament, making it 2-1 heading into the intermission.
Upper Canada, however, would pull even once again in the second period, as George Majic (1) scored on the power play to tie the game at two.
In the third, it was underaged defenceman Kade O’Rourke (4) who would play hero in the final minutes with a tough-angle top-shelf goal that would stand as the eventual game-winner.
Despite UCC pulling their goalie for the extra attacker, JRC held strong the rest to secure the victory and punch their ticket to the championship game.
The 2010-born Jr. Canadiens now carry the program back to the final, following last year’s 2009 group that captured the OHL Cup championship.

Detroit regained the lead before the end of the frame, as Liam Voit (2) found the back of the net to make it 2-1 heading into the intermission.
The momentum carried into the second period, where Voit (3) struck again to extend the HoneyBaked lead. Austin Hall (5) followed not long after with what would stand as the game-winning goal, giving Detroit a 4-1 advantage.
HoneyBaked added another early in the third, with Blake Stephens (4) scoring on the power play.
London pushed back late with a pair of power-play goals from Ryan Beaulieu (4), cutting into the deficit, but it was not enough to mount a comeback as HoneyBaked held on for the win.
