A former first overall OHL Priority Selection choice, gifted skater and talented playmaker, Barrie Colts forward Ryan Suzuki has dynamic offensive upside.

The younger brother of Montreal Canadiens prospect and 2019 OHL Playoff MVP Nick Suzuki, Ryan boasts many of the same skills and brings 360-degree vision to the ice. He racked up 75 points (25-50–75) in his second OHL season.

NHL Central Scouting describes Suzuki as “one of the best playmaking prospects in the 2019 draft class. He plays a dynamic puck composure game and is effective at making plays at top speed. He’s the kind of player who makes those around him better due to his heads-up game and smart decision making.”

Suzuki enters the 2019 NHL Draft as the 18th ranked North American skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings.
