Arber Xhekaj First Career Goal

ARBER XHEKAJ (KITCHENER RANGERS):
Kitchener Rangers rookie blueliner Arber Xhekajopened the scoring with the first of 10 goals on Friday, scoring his first in the OHL unassisted. Xhekaj’s goal came 3:25 into action as he scored in his 16th game as the Rangers went on to defeat visiting Sarnia 6-5 in a shootout. The 6-foot-2 defenceman from Hamilton, Ont. was a free agent signing by the Rangers out of training camp this season. He has two points (1-1–2) on the campaign after spending last season with the St. Catharines Falcons Jr. B club. He is a graduate of the Mississauga Senators Minor Midget program.
