Sharks prospect Kasper Halttunen commits to Knights
The London Knights are proud to announce that Finnish forward, Kasper Halttunen has signed a player agreement with the club.
Halttunen, a native of Helsinki, Finland was the 41st overall selection in the 2022 CHL Import Draft. In 2022-23 he split time with Liiga’s HIFK and HIFK U-20. Halttunen recorded 18 goals across 18 games with HIFK’s U20 squad. Halttunen was named to Finland’s U18 Worlds team and later named captain where he led the team in scoring with 10 points in 5 games.
The 6-foot-3 forward was recently drafted in the second round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, 36th overall by the San Jose Sharks and signed his entry-level contract with the organization shortly after.
Halttunen will report to Knights training camp in August before heading to Sharks training camp in mid-September.

Halttunen will wear #12 with the Knights.
