OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Game of Thursday, April 10^th, 2014 – North Bay at Barrie

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a playoff game played in Barrie on the 10^th of April, 2014 involving the Colts and the visiting North Bay Battalion Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a Physical Abuse of Official – Category One penalty assessed to player Mike Baird of the North Bay Battalion Hockey Club.

Based on a review of the incident, it is the position of the League that player Mike Baird shall be suspended for twenty (20) games, dating from but not including the playoff game of Thursday, April 10^th, 2014.
