Little named OHL player of the week

The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Barrie Colts’ centre Bryan Little is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday February 27 after scoring four goals and eight points in three games.

Little, a 17-year-old native of Cambridge, picked up two assists in a 7-7 tie with the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors on February 24. He added two goals in a 5-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on February 26 and scored two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists in an 8-5 win over the Oshawa Generals on February 27.

Little, last year’s OHL rookie of the year, leads the Colts with 29 goals and is second in team scoring with 60 points in 53 games this season.
